All Access - Adaptive Netball Programme


“All Access” Adaptive Netball initiative, backed by Netball New Zealand & Sport New Zealand. In  Partnership with Oaklynn School & Arohanui School.

      Background

NNZ has partnered with Sport New Zealand (SNZ) to provide opportunities for the disabled community to participate in Netball. No Limits Netball will provide disabled tamariki and rangatahi with sustainable, quality and equitable participation opportunities in Netball.

Objectives

  • Increase Participation
    •  Improve inclusive participation opportunities in Netball for the disabled community.
  • Improve Accessibility
    • Provide disabled tamariki and rangatahi with accessible opportunities in their local area.
    • To provide disabled tamariki and rangatahi an inclusive environment in Netball to participate.
  • Increase Capability of the Community
    • Build capacity and capability in Netball to build a skilled workforce in Netball to offer inclusive opportunities to disabled tamariki and rangatahi.

Our Commitment

Netball Waitakere are committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for Rangatahi with disabilities, to learn fundamental netball skills and trasferable techniques, catering to all abilities. With the objective to providing inclusive pathways into mainstream netball competitions.

Our Programme

We run two morning sessions on Tuesday & Thursday in our indoor arena. These sessions are structured specifically to the needs of the Rangatahi attending and are flexible. Sessions are facilitated by our experienced deliverers and Rangatahi developing leadership skills. these sessions are free to attend.
