2026 Representative Information


After an extremely successful 2025, we are looking forward to building on our results and helping our representative programme grow in 2026 with our main focus always being on the development of our Rangatahi.

  • U20 & Open Men
  • Sunday 23 November and Wednesday 26 November 2025
  • U14's
  • Sunday 19 April and Monday 20 April 2026
  • U16's
  •  Sunday 19 April and Thursday 23 April 2026
  • U18's (Men and Women)
  • Thursday 30 April and Sunday 03 May 2026
  • Open Women & U20/Open Mixed
  • Friday 24 July and Sunday 26 July 2026

If selected the first Training will be on Friday 8th May for all teams and every Friday evening thereafter.


National tournament dates;

  • NZMMNA Men's Nationals, Wellington. 03 April - 07 April 2026 for U20 & Open Men
  • North Island Junior Netball Championships, New Plymouth. 05 July - 07 July 2026 (Travel down on 04 July and return 08 July) for U14/1 and U16/1 & U16/2 teams.
  • Netball New Zealand U18 Championships, Venue and Location TBC. 13 July - 16 July 2026 for U18/1 & U18/2 Women & U18/1 Men
  • Netball New Zealand Open Championships, Venue and Location TBC. 09 September - 12 September 2026 for Open Women
  • NZMMNA Mixed Nationals, Auckland. 23 October - 27 October 2026 for U20 & Open Mixed

Representative Fees;

There is no cost to trial but if you are selected for a Representative Team then there will be costs, these are as follows;

- The cost for non-travelling players is $250 per player (U14/2 & U18/2 Men)

- For travelling players (U14/1, U16/1, U16/2, U18/1, U18/2, U18/1 Men, U20 Men, Open Men, Open Women, U20 Mixed & Open Mixed) there is a Player Fee of $550.

- Payment Plans are available upon request

- Netball Waitākere provide a scholarship for a select amount of players, these details are provided to the successful trialists. 

- Netball Waitākere has adopted a "No Pay, No Play" Policy, this means if fees are not settled in full by 20th June 2026. Players will be stood down from their respective team.


Terms and Conditions;

*All players must attend all trials for their age group to be selected, unless you have an exemption/dipensation from Netball Waitākere. 

**To be eligible to trial and be selected, players must nominate Netball Waitākere as their primary centre and be registered to an NW Club and/or School team or as an individual member. Players that select Netball Waitākere as their primary centre may not be selected to represent another centre unless released from Netball Waitākere. Release requests must be in writing to Netball Waitākere. Releases will only be given at the discretion of NW management

***Players will not be released if selected to represent Netball Waitākere.
