We announce with sadness and gratitude, the passing of our Life Member Betty Wells.  Betty was a valuable member of our Netball Executive from 1968 to 1973, and Treasurer from 1974 to 1994.  Betty was awarded a Henderson Waitemata Neball Association Service Award in 1980, and became our 2^nd Life Member in 1986.

Betty (along with Dot White), lobbied Council endlessly to obtain land for the first set of courts at Te Pai Place, and were instrumental in conceiving, fundraising and project managing the first pavilion on our site.

Our sincere condolences go out to Betty’s family.  May you rest in peace Betty.
