nnz Coaching modules

Coaching Development is already starting early in 2012, with the first set of clinics due to start within the next week. These courses are designed for those coaches who have completed the Player Centered Module and are looking to continue to develop their skills. The courses are extremely worthwhile and are run in through Auckland Netball which will allow you as a coach to discuss and swap ideas and drills with a wider Netball base.
Netball New Zealand encourages all coaches looking to coach at a representative level to complete these modules.

Summer league 2012

Please go to the summer league page to view the draw and grading for summer league 2012. Seniors will commence 31 January and College and Juniors will commence 7 February.

car park security

There have been a number of cars broken into while people are attending trainings and games. Please make sure all vehicles' are fully locked and no valuables left in them and/or visible.

Due to the large volume of people and as the car park is a public car park Netball Waitakere and the Te Pai Centre cannot take any responsibility for any theft or damage to your vehicles' or personal property.We believe that the thieves have Netball knowledge and are targeting cars when they know players & supporters are involved in games. Please pass this information on to all your team personnel.

Security Lockers Now On Site

The security lockers are now installed at the side entrance by the café. These are available to use for anyone wanting to secure baggage or personal items securely whilst on the premises. Over the last couple of weeks we have had a number of car break ins, so should you want to keep your valuables safe we strongly recommend using the lockers.

The cost to hire the lockers is $2.00 and is valid for one entry only. There is no time limit on the use of the lockers; however any additional entries into the lockers will incur a further $2 charge. $2.00 coins are available from the office should you need to swap coins to use.

As part of providing support to our netball community until the end of the year we will give half of all funds raised through the locker hirage to helping support and developing our 2012 representative teams. We see the lockers as a great way to provide additional security for our community and provide that extra little support for our talented players in conjunction with our online health store initiative www.netballwaitakere.co.nz/healthshop.

The lockers have been a huge investment for us and if demand is high we will investigate getting additional lockers onsite next year. Please note any lockers that are found storing items where the locker has not been paid for, will be removed and placed at the top of the lockers for collection. It is important that we ensure we make the lockers available for the paying community.

Please support us by purchasing your health supplements through our online store, and every dollar we make we will give 50 cents back to support our representative team in 2012.
The range includes sports performance, and various women's, men's and children's health products. Prices are comparable to pharmacies and include known brands such as Blackmore's.
As this is a new initiative for the centre if you have any feedback or suggestions on additional product ranges we welcome your feedback.
