2022 Representative Information

After a successful 2021, we are looking forward to building on our results and helping our representative programme grow in 2022.

This year, Netball Waitakere will be having teams competing in the following age groups:

Under 14

EnviroWaste NorthIsland Jnr Netball Champs: 10th-12th July at Waiwhakaiho Park Netball Courts, New Plymouth (dates still TBC)

U14/1 will travel to Taranaki

U14/2 will play in the local tournaments but not travel to Taranaki

 **Please note that only players in year 9 or above will be considered for our U14 team, for year 7 and 8 players looking for additional opportunities we have our Player Development Programme and information about that can be found HERE

Registrations are now open for all age groups with the trials taking place on the below dates:

Dates for trials are as follows (times tbc):

  • U14 - Sunday 1st (10am - 12pm), Monday 2nd May (6pm - 8pm)
  • U16s - Monday 2nd May, Thursday 5th May (6pm - 8pm)
  • U18s -  Thursday 5th May, Monday 9th May (6pm - 8pm)
  • U17 Men -  Saturday May 28 (330pm - 6pm)
  • Open Age - Friday 1st July (TBC) 6.00pm for 6.30pm start

All players must attend all trials for their age group to be selected, unless you have an exemption from the Netball Development Officer.
